Here you visit the largest statue in the world, depicting the Hindu god Vishnu riding his mythical Garuda. After you’ve enjoyed a cup of coffee or tea with beautiful views of Bali in the GWK Park restaurant, we bring you to Pura Luhur Uluwatu. This important directional sea temple is impressively located on the western edge of a limestone peninsula, but beware of the holy but very naughty monkeys guarding the site. Afterwards, we visit the cliffs that tower over Pantai Suluban, a favourite beach among the islands surfing community. If you like, you can descend to the beach from stairs hewn into the limestone cliffs and go for a refreshing swim. Or just gaze out over the Indian Ocean and overlook the surfers catching the rolling waves in the sea below. And finally, we bring you to a local beach restaurant for a taste of today’s catch. With your feet in the sand, you’ll enjoy a delicious seafood dinner overlooking the crashing waves while the sun sets in the sea and the stars appear in the sky.
